Just put details

Capability Scotland’s Wallace Court is going through a total refurbishment of all 20 bedrooms and 3 of their bathrooms.
Following several meetings with the service manager, who explained their problem of having 6 different types of ceiling hoists, the manager decided that as part of their total refurbishment they would like one make and model of ceiling hoist in all the bedrooms and bathroom
ACS Healthcare Ltd won the tender to take out all of their existing ceiling hoists and tracks, and install the Invacare I-Transia in all of bedrooms and X-Y systems in their bathrooms.
We worked closely with the home ensuring the new systems would be placed to optimize the new layout

Ceiling track hoists are great for providing access throughout a building for those that have mobility problems or disabilities. If a person is having trouble standing and moving about due to an illness or ongoing disability, a hoist may be very helpful in order to transfer them from one place to another.

Itransia Mobility hoistThe Invacare I-Transia is a reliable and highly cost effective ceiling hoist that is perfect for community and residential care. Designed to meet the wide range of day-to-day lifting needs encountered by carers, the I-Transia allows transfers to be carried out quickly, safely and comfortably.

Mobile Track HoistThe Robin Hoist is compatible with most track systems, with no mess or fuss we will take away the old lifting unit and replace it with a brand new system with up to three years warranty.

The Robin operates without a spreader bar. This means:

  • much higher client-carer interaction and eye contact, thanks to no spreader bar
  • Higher feeling of security as no worries about hitting head on the spreader bar.
  • Easier to get in and out of, as the client does not have to worry about ducking.
  • Less obstructive as the hoist takes up less space on the ceiling or in storage off the track.
